The Wavell Heights Juniors competed successfully at the Queensland Summer Invitational Tournament
Junior Competitors with JR & Shane
Seven kyu grade juniors competed and four medalled.
- Lily Neal achieved a Gold in Kata
- Michael Pilgujski won Gold in the Kyu Grade kumite and then Silver when advanced to Black Belt Kumite
- Cameron Marshall won two Silver medals, one each in Kata and Kumite
- Ryley Robinson won a Bronze medal in Kumite.
It was a successful tournament for the junior and Alex and Shane Wood in the Seniors also won Gold Medals in Kumite.
