Seikukan Karate Club Wavell Heights was a successful recipient of the Office of liquor and Gaming Regulation Gambling Community Benefit Fund Solar Sport grant. This fully installed 1.5kW solar power system will add to the other sustainable measures that the club has undertaken over the last few years including the solar hot water system. Riley Robinson, Lily Neal and Michael Pilgujski, Seikukan members attended the inaugural Sydney International Open Championships on the 5th to 6th February 2011.
